PAKISTAN

IBTI comes alongside missionaries in Pakistan who are daily providing health services, education, resources, clean drinking water, and more to needy families and communities around them.

Spearheaded by an IBTI graduate, this team supports the poor in Pakistan by providing schooling for children in families who work as slaves in the agricultural industry. The “One Room School” was established for children who would never otherwise have had the opportunity to receive education. The school presents a safe space to learn, grow, and witness the outpouring of the love of Jesus in the lives of kids and their families.

In addition to educating children, this missional initiative strives to eradicate exploitation and social injustice amongst the vulnerable. Many young girls and boys are rescued from forced labour, trafficking, and abusive situations and placed into environments where they are nurtured and cared for.

Not only is trafficking being addressed through firsthand rescues, but also through the installation of water pumps in remote communities where clean water is difficult to access. Never Thirst Again was launched with the purpose of making safe drinking water accessible, which in turn prevents women and children from being vulnerable to trafficking as they no longer need to travel to collect water.

One byproduct of this practical outreach is an open door to churches being planted in these impoverished areas, poignantly reflecting the mission statement of this ministry from John 4:14 where Jesus says, “Whoever drinks the water I give them will NEVER THIRST AGAIN.”
