WHAT IS THE IBTI COMMUNITY
At the heart of IBTI is a diverse Christian community united by a shared desire to serve Jesus and support the students He sends here. As part of the IBTI Community, you’ll live and work alongside others who reflect God’s family - supporting, equipping, and celebrating each other in everyday ways. From cooking meals to fixing things, welcoming guests to empowering students, your role will be practical, relational and spiritual.

Our purpose is to prepare students to be sent into the nations. But the journey begins here - with a team of volunteers who belong, serve with joy, and equip others in Christ.

COMMUNITY TEAMS
The IBTI works in four teams you can be part of:
House Team
The House Team creates a warm, welcoming environment for students, guests, and visiting lecturers. From preparing meals to keeping the house clean and ready, this team reflects God’s care through acts of hospitality and practical service.
College Office
The College Office Team keeps everything in order so students can thrive. From managing timetables and ensuring compliance with diploma regulations to offering student welfare support, this team makes sure academic life runs smoothly—with heart and precision.
Engage Team
The Engage Team manages how IBTI presents itself to the world. They look after the website, help attract students, oversee branding, and create occasional social media videos. If you're passionate about communication and design, this is a great place to serve.
Central Operations
The Central Ops Team supports every other team —from IT and maintenance to HR and finance. It’s also where many of the leaders serve. If you love practical organisation, systems, or strategic oversight, this is the engine room of IBTI.
