BRIDGING MINISTRY PLACEMENT
The Bridging Ministry Placement is a significant opportunity for students to gain firsthand ministry experience in an immersive, real-life context. Partnering with one of the IBTI’s global church partners, students will spend 5-6 weeks serving in an established ministry, gaining practical ministry experience, receiving mentorship from experienced leaders, and connecting to a network of diverse church communities.
Each placement experience is tailor-made. The student is assessed according to their unique gifts, skills, and personal ministry goals, then assigned to a ministry context where they will have opportunity to learn, grow, and lead in those areas.
The Bridging Ministry Placement is a requirement for students interested in enrolling in the Level 5 Diploma course, unless they have the necessary prior ministry experience.
There is no separate cost for placement. Accommodation, food, and other essentials are all covered within the student course fees for the Level 5 Diploma course. The only cost the student must cover is travel fare to and from the placement location.
