MISSION

​Founded in 1947, the International Bible Training College (IBTI) is dedicated to discipleship, ministry training, and mission. Our relational approach to learning ensures that academic excellence, ministerial practice, and character formation are integral to our training. Our mission is to address the growing need for discipleship that leaves a lasting impact on lives, communities, and nations.

We achieve our mission through a comprehensive program of courses and formation activities that emphasise spiritual, character, and ministerial growth. Our approach is structured around three key focuses:

SPIRITUAL FOCUS

We combine intellectual depth and excellence with practical application and openness to transformation through the Bible and the Holy Spirit.

  • Encountering God

  • Growing in confidence in one’s salvation, new identity, and calling

  • Creating spaces for renewing the mind, which often leads to inner healing, growth in spiritual gifts, confidence in The Bible, faith, and intimacy with Jesus.

LIFESTYLE FOCUS

We believe true spirituality is measured by becoming more like Christ in attitude, habits, actions, and life approach.

This involves:

  • Recognising and breaking away from destructive patterns and harmful practices.

  • Rebuilding of character strength.

  • Cultivating a genuine passion to love and serve others.

MISSIONAL FOCUS

Building on a relationship with Jesus and growing in Christ-likeness, we aim to empower individuals to embrace their unique calling and gifts, no matter the cost.
