About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Volunteer Head Cook to lead our kitchen operations and ensure a welcoming dining experience for our community. This role involves planning menus, supervising meal preparation, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. You will work closely with our team to create nutritious, enjoyable meals and foster a positive environment.


Key Responsibilities


  • Plan and prepare menus for term-time meals and special events.

  • Oversee kitchen staff and volunteers, ensuring smooth daily operations.

  • Maintain compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.

  • Manage inventory and steward resources responsibly.

  • Contribute to a welcoming, community-focused atmosphere.


We provide training in health and hygiene standards and ongoing support to help you grow in your role and as part of our ministry team.
