UGANDA
In November 2024, Davide travelled once again to Uganda, following a previous visit with John the year before. This time, his mission was to meet James, a former IBTI student who has devoted his life to spreading the Gospel in Uganda. Since returning to his home country, James has planted an impressive 17 churches, reaching communities in one of the poorest nations in the world.

Davide’s mission had two key aims: to support and encourage James and his congregations and to bring clean water to a local village. James had kindly offered part of his land for the project, and together, they set their sights on providing a well for a community in desperate need of fresh water.
Before leaving, Davide had raised the necessary funds, and James had organised the land and arranged for a company to begin the work. However, when the digging started, they hit obstacles. First, they encountered white rock, followed by black rock, the hardest type to break through. For 12 hours, the company dug tirelessly, but despite their best efforts, they couldn’t reach the water.
That evening, Davide and James were discouraged, sitting in silence at dinner, feeling defeated. But that night, Davide and a fellow brother spent hours in prayer, trusting God for a breakthrough. They prayed for water to flow, believing in the miracle they so desperately needed.
The next morning, around 7:30 AM, they received a phone call that changed everything. The company urgently called them to the site, saying, "Get here quickly – water is rushing out!" Davide and James rushed to the well, only to witness an incredible miracle: water was flowing freely, gushing from the depths of the earth, providing fresh, clean water for the community.
The well now serves three villages, supplying clean water to those who previously had none.
Davide also recalls another incredible miracle from his time in Uganda. He met a young boy whom he had prayed for the previous year, asking for healing in his legs. This time, to his amazement, the boy was running up and down the church, full of life and energy, much like the man healed in Acts 3. The account recounts, “One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer... A man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful... When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money. Peter said, ‘Look at us!’ ... ‘Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.’ ... Instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong. He jumped to his feet and began to walk, then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God.”
Davide and James are deeply grateful for God’s provision and the miracles they were blessed to witness. They also want to extend their thanks to everyone who supported them both through prayer and financial contributions.
