Who’s My Neighbour?
On Saturday, 4th February some of our students joined Centre Church on the Brighton campus for their “Who’s my neighbour?” Outreach. This is the feedback we received from the church and one of the 1st year students:
“We were really blessed, as always, to have some of the students (and staff) give up their free time to come and serve the Lord at Centre Church Brighton’s ‘Who’s My Neighbour’ event. This was the third such event we’ve done and the students were helpful in going out and about, handing out flyers and inviting people to the event. Then during the event itself, some were able to help with the children’s ministry with others chatting to some of the guests and befriending them. The aim of the event is to really ‘love our neighbours’ and encourage neighbourliness in the community, whilst at the same time building longer term connections with people from the immediate locality of the church (ideally within 1 mile or so). On the whole the students did a fantastic job and really did connect well with people. We’re very happy they could give up their time to be a part of it.” Chris Gallimore, “event organiser”
“It was very good because we had the possibility to show and speak about the love of Jesus to some different people in Brighton.” Francesco, “1st yr student”
