Code of Conduct

As an international college, we are very aware that the cultural norms may be very different from one student's background to another.
Our code of conduct is to make sure that we live by the highest biblical standards and do not cause offense in any way.

* No courting or suchlike relationship will be permitted between men and women students. No one may enter dormitories of the opposite sex or be alone after dark with a member of the opposite sex.

* No private arrangements may be made between students and pastors or church members, including local church members. Students must get permission to accept any invitation they may receive.

* No financial transactions, opening of credit accounts or incurring of debts are to take place without clearance from the Institute first.

* Students are expected to get on well with one another and thus cultivate an atmosphere of good will and Christian love and spirituality.

* The I.B.T.I. being a Bible Training Institute, the highest standards of behavior are expected at all  times from all students, as well as acceptance of the authority and decisions of those in charge.

* The achievements of every student will be assessed on the basis of relationships, spiritual progress, attitude to practical work and general discipline.

Any contravention of these rules may result in instant expulsion.
